Christian is a Congolese refugee and advocate living in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. As a passionate writer and filmmaker, he uses the power of storytelling to showcase refugee experiences in education and their journeys towards self-reliance. Christian currently works with FilmAid Kenya as a multimedia assistant, and his role consists of mentoring and teaching youth on the basics of storytelling. He works with Global Affairs Canada, as a member of the Refugee Education Council. The council informs Canada's Together for Learning campaign – an international campaign to address the growing global displacement crisis and ensure that all refugee and displaced children can access the education they need and deserve.
In 2020, Christian won a short film scriptwriting contest and received the funds to produce 16 JUNE, a short film that highlights the need of including out-of-school children in education.

Jonas is fashion and graphic Designer and the founder of Jo Design. Jonas is originally from Republic Democratic Of Congo currently living in Kenya, a self-taught Graphic and Fashion Designer, learning from his experiences and everyday life. Graphic and Fashion Design has been the language he adores since he was a teenager. Nature and every day life are the main source of inspiration for most of his works.
A stronger believer of "Do what you love, love what you do". Doing a good job and helping others is what motivates him most.

Sudi Omar Noor is originally from Somalia, living in kakuma refugee camp. She advocates for peace in her community, young girls in sports and education. As an aspiring storyteller she is passionate about photography and creative writing. She is currently working with DW-Akademie and FilmAid Kenya as a radio journalist and community correspondent. She is the founder of Girl Power Initiative, a refugee women-led organization that empowers young girls in Kakuma and Kalobeyei by distributing reusable sanitary towels to school-going girls and educating them on Sexual Reproductive Health and Menstruation Hygiene Management.
